I realise there are many versions of this lesson, however, I have been adapting various ideas until I have settled upon this one. You will need to be able to get a copy of Wilfred Owen's poem Dulce et Decorum est. I usually use A5 then they can annotate around in their books.
It nicely uses English, History and a bit of Drama and I have found that students respond really well to it.
