42 slide PPT which would be suitable for AQA or Edexcel. Relevant for Language Paper 2 study / revision. It uses non-fiction articles about Glastonbury which were part of WJEC 4171/02 June 2013 English Language exam and is available online and an article about Lewis Clarke which is attached. The slides include exemplar responses and tasks for students to do. The slides focus on: how to analyse language in a non-fiction text, followed by how to analyse structure, ending with how to write an evaluation. Some slides will refer to Edexcel marking criteria and exam structure but the main content is appropriate for other exam boards. It has been pitched at grades 4 - 6.
