GCSE English Lit - A Christmas Carol - Card Matching Revision Game

A fun way to engage GCSE students in this card matching revision activity for Dickens’ novella A Christmas Carol.
Perfect for a revision starter or revision/intervention session on the main characters in ACC (Scrooge, Bob Crachitt, Spirits of Christmas Past, Present, Yet to Come and Tiny Tim) their key quotes, characteristics and appearance.

Game instructions:

• Cut out all the cards
• Lay out the 6 character picture cards on the table, mix up the rest
• Students need to match 5 cards to each character (1 key characteristic card, 1 appearance card, 3 key quote cards)
• Students can stick the answers into their books/A3 paper and expand their notes

All cards included ready to be cut out (names/answers next to each card).
