Revision notes and activities for 'Development Dilemmas' which is a unit of study for for GCSE Geography. Students will revise ways of measuring development including GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and HDI (Human Development Index). They will explore how other indicators such as rising Adult Literacy and falling Infant mortality can be used to show how fast or slow some countries are developing. The will recap on the differences between 'Top Down' and 'Bottom Up' projects to help improve standards of living and generate wealth.
