This is a unit of work that I have created on Quadratics for GCSE Higher Maths consisting of 8 lessons covering: expanding double brackets, factorising quadratics, solving quadratics and using the quadratic formula. I used this resource with a Year 8 G+T group and there is also a slight touch on completing the square as an extension however isn’t a stand alone lesson. There are four PowerPoints with various worksheets and tasks as well as an end of unit assessment complete with mark scheme and consolidation, green pen feedback (GPF) tasks.
There’s also plenty of problem solving tasks to comply with the new GCSE.
