GCSE MFL Results Analysis for HoDs

Hi everyone,
With GCSE results arriving, I’ve put together a simple, fillable template to support Heads of MFL in analysing outcomes for Spanish and French (though it can be adapted for any language).

It’s designed to help with:

Breaking down results by exam component

Looking at pupil groups and year-on-year trends

Benchmarking against national data

Identifying strengths, areas for development, and next steps

Hopefully this saves a bit of time and provides a clear structure for departmental reflection and planning.
