This document contains two A5 differentiated sheet focusing on Rhythm and Metre. It provides a STRETCH document to challenge the more able and provides questions to stimulate the compositional process. There is also a SUPPORT document which provides basics as well as techniques that can be applied independently.
The STRETCH document provides four techniques:
- Crisp dotted notes
- Triplets
- Scotch Snap
- Hemiola
The SUPPORT document has four sections on:
- Rhythm & Notation
- Augmentation and diminution
- Metre
- Changing Tempo
