Designed for teaching (and modeling from the front) and for independent use by students, these fully editable slides will help consolidate knowledge and understanding of all eight set works in the current Pearson Edexcel 9-1 Music Specification.
Each set work features an embedded video (including tips & tricks for analysis) followed by blank slides to be completed collaboratively in lessons, or set for homework. Once completed, they will form a useful revision resource as a starting point for the extended writing Question 9, 12-marker.
The slides are presented with the necessary elements of music (Melody, Harmony & Tonality etc.) and blank boxes to identify the AO3 points (i.e. what is true in the music), the bar numbers* and the AO4 points (i.e. the effect this has within the music, if it is ‘typical of the style’ etc.)

*Remembering bar numbers is not necessary for the exam, but knowing and understanding the overall geography of each piece is essential.
