This resource contains a brief presentation explaining this to students, and a document containing past paper questions emphasizing this skill. AQA provides something similar, but with only 3-4 questions. This resources provides 30+ questions, and can be printed out into two booklets for each paper. Mark schemes included.
I used this as an Easter revision session with my year 11s - and it worked really well! Can be used for combined science students but is generally catering for students aiming for grades 7+
