It includes an extended READING task (non fiction text) with accompanying exam style comprehension questions, suitable for Level 2 learners and stretching and challenging those at level 1.

The SPAG focus in this lesson is on the use of APOSTRAPHES and EXCLAMATION MARKS.

LANGUAGE TECHNIQUES are explored using DAFOREST.

Learners are guided to complete a WRITING task; Using prompts to write an ARTICLE.

PEER MARKING, FEEDBACK and SELF REFLECTION is promoted using the ‘two stars and a wish’ method.

Stretch and challenge is encouraged throughou this lesson with additional EXTENSION tasks to differentiate.
