This forces lesson explores the relationship between mass, weight and gravity. It looks in greater depth at how the mass of an object affects the strength of the gravitational pull. The lesson reviews mass vs weight and asks the children to think about the links between weight, mass and gravity. The lesson asks the children to explain how the mass of a planet affects the gravitational pull and the affect that this has on the weight of an object.

Children are required to self assess, collaborate and use critical thinking skills throughout the lesson.
