Here is an W.A.G.O.L.L. (what a good one looks like) showing some persuasive reasons why it’s important for us to protect The Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
It includes reasons such as:-

  • Climate change which leads to coral bleaching
  • The increase in population of an invasive species known as the Crown of Thorns Starfish
  • Increased tourism on the reef which could lead to water pollution.

It provides the children with a clear structure of a persuasive letter showing them where to put the address of the recipient and the sender, how to phrase their arguments, and how to end their letters appropriately.
It is written as a Word document so it can be edited to suit your needs.
