Guess Who Descriptive Writing Lesson

A fun and interactive descriptive writing lessons aimed at lower KS2. The resource includes sheets, the PowerPoint and Lesson plan.
Lesson begin by exploring what the children already know and then moves through to exploring a WAGOLL. Then children then have a go writing their own for a partner to guess. The lesson has 3 levels of challenge and extra supportive resources for students who may require them.

• I can describe a character using simple writing techniques.
• I can also edit my work to improve it and check it makes sense.
• I can even use a thesaurus to add some super vocabulary to my work.
