Guided Reading Planning for The Wreck of the Zanzibar by Michael Morpurgo and has 6 teacher led sessions. Each teacher led session contains teacher notes including independent reading and teacher led questions as well as a follow up task to be completed by the children before meeting with the teacher. Aimed at small group guided sessions but can be adapted for whole class sessions.
