This is a short revision presentation I have recently used with my Year 8 class.
The presentation is a prompt for me really and leads onto a quiz perfectly.

Well laid out...BUT Softwoods are from trees that bear cones and have no flowers... Hardwoods are from trees that have flowers. Larch is a softwood. It is deciduous. Holly is a hardwood, it is evergreen. Most of the tropical hardwoods, and there are many, never loose there leaves. Check it out
