He/ She Musical Instruments Adapted Book/ Easy Reader

Pronouns + Verbs + Musical Instruments This adapted book to practice using the pronouns he/ she with the verb playing while identifying a musical instrument to create a simple sentence. Also works on beginning writing skills and sentences structure (syntax). The book has 13 adaptable pages. The student will match the corresponding pictures to the sentence strip, creating pronoun + is/ are + verb + ing sentences with ease. (Ex: He is playing the violin.)

Uses simple non-distracting images that allow students to focus on the action rather than the background.

After students finish writing the book I like to have them practice copying down the sentences they have made.

This is a great way to have students with minimal verbal skills practice reading/ writing and syntax.
