An engaging lesson produced for AQA GCSE specification. This lesson will allow students to learn who the different medical practitioners were, who they were likely to treat and what treatments they would have used. The lesson also covers the diagnostic and treatment charts used by physicians.
The resources allow for individual, paired or group work depending on what suits the teacher and students best.
The lesson also includes opportunities for AFL with progress checks after students have completed activities.
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to form a judgement on whether the Middle Ages were a medieval marketplace for those living at the time.
