This activity is for all ages and abilities and allows learners to not only enhance their word vocabulary but also there ability to explain their own skills and abilities and transferrable skills in a fun and engaging way. The work sheet is made up of 40 squares each with a different skill/quality inside. The worksheet can be differentiated by adding other resources such as a dictionary. The resource also generate communication as students can help each other. The activity requires the tutor to number the bricks on a Jenga game from 1 -40 as the learner pulls out a brick a number is revealed which corresponds to the worksheet, the student then identifies the word from the worksheet and then highlights it. The learner then has to explain when they have used that skill with an example e.g. punctual, the learner may say 'I am always on time to school/college as this is important when getting a job in the future' or if the learner is not good at this they can suggest ways to improve. When the game has finished the students should have many words highlighted they then use the next page to write a few sentences about the skills/qualities which are relevant to them. Once completed this can also be used towards creating a personal statement for a C.V.
