A lesson comparing an extract from Shakespeare’s Henry V to Rupert Brooke’s ‘The Soldier’.

Both texts have tasks associated with them such as scaffolded questions, WAGOLLs, language analysis and clips to watch. Lesson also includes some integrated SPAG tasks.

Can be used in lessons focused on power and conflict, war, Shakespeare or poetry.
