Highway Rat visual aids

A set of visual aids to support teaching based on the Julia Donaldson story The Highway Rat. Includes a story map, a writing toolkit, visual cue cards for verbal rehearsal, themed missing words in sentence re-write activity and an example Wanted poster. The visual cue cards purposely include characters that are not in the story for children to verbally rehearse independent sentences to write their own version of the story, there is a speech bubble activity too. There is also a writing toolkit for How to make a jam sandwich to teach the Highway Rat he doesn’t need to steal food and a thank you letter from him to the children.
