History Hides in Plain Sight!

Presentation developed from a stand alone starter or plenary for KS3 History. There are 60 different challenges in which a major individual from world history is briefly described. The individuals birth and death dates can also suggest the correct identity. The description also contains two consecutive words which mimic the initials of the hidden person. One potential use of the presentation is to cover a given number (I found 6 to be suitable) of challenges and the students write their responses. An alternative is simply a “hands up” teacher directed activity.
