History of the World in 20 Objects

Inspired by the British Museum’s ‘The History of the World in 100 Objects’, these three lessons take 20 of those objects and use them to examine global history, from prehistory to the 21st century.
Activities include peer assessment, geography, inferencing and analysis. There is also a homework task and a quiz to assess pupil’s own knowledge.
A good introduction to the subject of history and historical skills, particularly inferencing and arguing significance. All resources needed are inclulded.
