Lesson with Christian and Muslim teachings on homosexuality including exam question. to use in GCSE answers on the relationships module for WJEC. Needs to be handled carefully - some pupils can cope with it, some get a bit excited and make homophobic comments. I liken homophobia to racism and this usually helps them to understand. They haven’t homosexuality yet since it went on the syllabus so likely to appear this year.

The kind of homosexual relationship that you describe as being 'practiced quite freely and without any stigma' in Greek and Roman times was in fact that between mature adult males and pre-adolescent / adolescent boys! We would term that child abuse, so it is very unfortunate that you are using it to make your case.
