
Ingredients
1 chicken breast fillet
60ml oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 tsp chopped or crushed garlic
pinch of salt
sprinkle of pepper
pinch of harissa, paprika or chilli powder
Method
- Place a chicken fillet into a bowl
- Add oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper and harissa or paprika or chilli powder into a bowl
- Whisk the mixture
- Pour it over the chicken
- Leave to marinate for around 6 hours. If cooking in a school environment, allow to marinate for 20 minutes before cooking in the oven at 180 C fan oven/200 C/Gas mark 6 for around 15 minutes. To test for readiness either cut into the chicken and ensure the juices run clear (no pinkish coloured liquid) or use a meat thermometer at the largest part of the chicken and ensure the temperature is 75 C degrees Celsius or above (this ensures harmful bacteria have been killed).
