A fun based critical thinking & discussion lesson incorporating elements of DT, RE and Geography. Aimed at KS4 and Post 16, based on surviving a zombie Apocalypse. It can be used for some Y9 (Use your own judgement) but slide 4 must be removed.
Plenty of video clips inserted with timings in the Teacher notes. Alongside, lesson plan for 1 or 2 hr lesson, questions and challenges for mixed ability groups. Progress criteria included.
Map for geographical element is Sheffield and interactive but you can replace with a map for your school’s / college’s location.
A note of caution: Read the teaching notes as they help you to steer discussions away from killing or weapons and generally stop the lesson from becoming mayhem.
