I just wanted to highlight an error in your ppt. No. 2 use of a colon is incorrect or worded in a way that is confusing. A colon is not used to separate two independent clauses: that is the function of a semi-colon. Wanted to make you aware as people may learn the rules incorrectly from this. Kind regards.
