Suffix Sorting Activity - KS1 & KS2 Spelling Practice - Ice Cream Theme

This engaging and visual grammar resource helps pupils learn and apply common suffixes (-less, -ful, -ness, -ment) in a fun and memorable way.

Children sort root word ice cream scoops and match them to the correct suffix “cones" to build real words. They then stack their scoops to create words before using their vocabulary to write simple sentences on wafers in the scoops.
