This three-lesson ICT IGCSE mini practical exam series is designed to prepare students for practical exam components in graphics, web authoring, and spreadsheets. It blends revision, practical assessment, peer teaching, and reflection to improve technical skills and exam readiness.
The series includes:
Revision of the key skills (Publisher, KompoZer, and Excel) before students complete their first mini practical
Peer and self-assessment leading to targeted intervention work to improve the initial practical
A “strength skill” peer teaching activity where students prepare a 5-minute lesson to teach their strongest skill to fellow students in groups
A second mini-practical assessment
Peer and self-assessment again, with a reflection on progress
Differentiation is provided throughout, with hints for support and challenge activities for extension.
To maintain timing and pace, embedded timers are included for each stage of the mini-mock.
The resource also includes:
All the files required for both practical exams (cinema scenario and events arena scenario)
Structured tasks to ensure coverage of all required skills
This lesson series provides both the practice and feedback students need to refine their ICT skills and approach their practical exams with confidence.

This is exactly what I was looking for, a mini practical project for my pupils to practice their skills for ICT IGCSE. Thanks
