iGCSE Physics PowerPoint that covers the topic of thermal radiation. This 14 page powerpoint explains how thermal radiation (infrared) is absorbed and emitted from different surfaces. Two experiments are explained in detail as well as the results from the Leslie cube demonstration including a FLIR photo. A vacuum flask diagram is also explained and links back to the previous lesson on conduction and convection. Common misconceptions are also highlighted.

This is the third of 6 topics in this units of work and is aimed at covering approximately 2-3 hours of teaching, including the experiments.
