Improving writing - dictionary skills & spelling

Task to get students assessing a piece of writing and improving it - focus on checking spelling & making sure they've chosen the correct word from the dictionary. I use things like this to help my students get into the habit of checking their own work for mistakes - all of the mistakes in the text are ones that have been made by my students at some point! I've uploaded several similar tasks for checking verbs, adjectives & adding extra details/opinions etc.
