A one/two part lesson which introduces the AQA Love and Relationship poetry to students.
The lesson involves students working in pairs on ONE poem, and complete a prompt booklet to try to get an initial idea about their poem. After about 20/25 minutes they start to feedback to the rest of the class, with everyone completing the grid.
A basic overview, but useful revision resource and is great for getting students to see they can understand a poem and select things to say about it even if they had not been taught it.
Worked really well with a number of classes and abilities.
