This resource has been created in order to help English Literature GCSE students revise and remember key quotations and their meaning from the play ‘An Inspector Calls.’ The resource has a key quotation or stage direction from Arthur Birling on the front and on the back contains: suggested meanings, links to context, key techniques/ word classes identified and links to other quotations in the play. Obviously, it is impossible to include every possible interpretation on a flash card but these provide clear and valid interpretations as a starting point.

Printing: The resource has been formatted so that when double-sided printing is selected the cards will print out properly aligned front to back.
