A lesson designed for a year 7 Biology class on intensive farming. Students are given an overview of intensive farming and it's issues and then divided into supermarket groups. They each have individual roles with questions to answer during the group work, and can present their findings to the class when complete. This lesson could be done in as PSHE session.
The UK supermarket policy for laying hens was taken from the internet which can easily be searched for, but I have attached it for ease.
