All you have to do with this is cut out the words - Basically, you give a word in the story (one of the homphones) to the pupils and they will keep it. As you read the story and say their word, their job is to stand up and check if it is the correct spelling!
Great fun and an easy way to get perceptions of homophones corrected with whole class involvement and engagement.
