Students are shown a variety of scales and they need to write down the value from the scale and the units. I used it by giving the students whiteboards and used 'show and tell&' for most of the lesson. It was designed with lower ability students in mind, and as many ofthe lads are obsessed with Top Gear I incuded a few cult car fuel guages. You may like to top it up with a bit of a text book exercise to make a full lesson.
