Interior Design Financial Literacy Task

This is a financial literacy task I designed for my Year 9s. It is an interior design themed task.\n\nStudents have to decorate four rooms in a house with a budget of £10,000. They must work out the area to be painted, and carpeted/laminated. They need to work out how much paint to buy and which is the best deal, how much carpet/laminate flooring to buy and from where, as well as employ painters, electricians, plumbers and carpet layers, all with specific requirements! \n\nGreat group work and an opportunity to practice their functional skills.
