The lesson plan included can be adapted for individual use, however if following the lesson as presented, the learners will be able to take part in key learning activities that will strengthen their understanding of the anatomical structures and functions that occur at each stage of digestion. By empowering learners in this way, they become peer experts and will be able to help and share with each other their knowledge effectively.
