Pupils will need a sheet of A3 paper for drawing the islands/their routes and their jotters for working. Use coloured pencils for the different routes for different parts of the questions.

Great idea with well set out ppt inc lovely starter...the only problem I can force is assessment - how do you make sure they all do the correct calculations?
I was looking for something different for my top set year 9 to do on scale drawings and this will be ideal for them, thanks for sharing. (Changed the distance for a litre of petrol on the last slide to 15km).
