Summary of passage

J.R.R. Tolkien, a famous writer, created a magical world filled with adventures and mythical creatures. Born in South Africa in 1892, Tolkien’s father passed away when he was only three years old, prompting his mother to bring him and his brother back to England. Even as a young boy, Tolkien had a passion for reading, writing, and creating stories about dragons, elves, and other mythical beings. Later in life, he became a professor at Oxford University, teaching languages and literature. Despite his success as a professor, Tolkien had a great imagination and desired to write his own stories. He wrote “The Hobbit,” which gained immense popularity and made him famous. Inspired to write a larger story, he created Middle-earth and penned “The Lord of the Rings,” a trilogy loved by people worldwide. These books are known for their themes of magic, adventure, friendship, and the triumph of good over evil. Tolkien, a lover of nature, enjoyed spending time walking in the woods and cherished his family and friends. He passed away in 1973, but his stories will continue to inspire readers for generations.
