
This is a lesson/task that I designed for a home educated learner with a PDA profile. It is themed as Jellycat as this is a special interest!
It follows a sequence of:
-Exploring a chosen jellycat toy or picture of one by answering some simple questions to gather some information (low demand)
-Collecting vocabulary in a table, there are a list of words which need to be improved.
-Collecting vocab which is linked to texture, movement etc.
-Sentence construction with already given parts of the sentence.
-Sentence stretching task to end.
I have then furthered this myself with the learners as they write a small sentence/description of a Jellycat they choose.
