I have created an activity where pupils can create their own dot map and try and find the source of a cholera outbreak.

Each pupil gets a blank map and a celebrity card. Each celebrity card tells them where they live, where they get their food and water and if they died. By comparing the 32 celebrities and filling in the map the pupils can find the source of the outbreak. There are also two anomalies for the more able pupils to try and solve.

There is a PowerPoint to introduce the lesson and explain how to complete the activity. The worksheet and video links can be used to extend the activity into an hour long lesson.
