This double sided sheet is to be used for year 7 and 8 Keystage 3 tracking. It shows all the criteria areas they must meet in order to achieve that particular level. It starts off with an emerging section on the back and actual curriculum levels on the front. It is to be used as a tracking sheet to allow pupils to see which areas they have covered so far. Each area may be highlighted by the pupil or teacher to show progression. For example… I may use a blue highlighter for year 7 progression and pink for year 8 so the students can see at a glance what has been covered in each year.

It is useful for lower ability as work can be tailored around the gaps on the emerging section before moving to the actual levels. After teaching the content of a particular unit I use the Assessment sheet to cover those areas outlined on the criteria sheet and refer to them by the code/number. If the student meets the criteria I will award the criteria on the sheet by highlighting that area.

You put the targets at the top of the sheet and each term you add the level achieved and whether they are
WT - Working Towards
AE- As Expected
AA - All Attained
WA - Working Above
