Key Stage 4 ~ GCSE Biology~ lesson on the Kidneys. In this lesson pupils will describe the role of the kidneys in cleaning the blood, explain how hormones control the function of the kidneys and state the different types of treatment for kidney failure. Extension questions are included on the slides and there is a pick and mix of different tasks to select from for your students. Follows the GCSE Biology AQA course.

Note: this lesson does not discuss in detail how the two treatment methods work- this will be covered in a separate lesson.
