King Kong Guided Reading Year 3/4 three wk unit

A three week unit of planning for Guided Reading sessions, with resources. The MTP includes relevant links to year 3/4 reading objectives taken from the 2014 NC, however this was originally used for a lower ability year 5/6 class. Planning includes useful questions to be asked verbally throughout shared reading time, in addition to written comprehension tasks and a book review activity. Prepared WALTS are especially useful for supporting those children who lack writing pace. A successful unit when used for my own teaching.
