Bring citizenship to life through real action in school and the local community.

This capstone KS2 Citizenship unit helps children apply everything they have learned throughout the programme. Pupils identify an issue they care about, investigate it, plan realistic action, work collaboratively, communicate their ideas and reflect on the impact they have made.

Children discover that citizenship is not simply learning about society, it is participating in it responsibly, thoughtfully and positively.

The pack contains 30 files, including a launch assembly, six no-prep Circle Time sessions, six complete lessons with presentation decks, plus a Teacher Guide, Knowledge Organiser and Pupil Reflection Journal.

Written for Years 3–6, this unit brings together law, democracy, financial literacy, media literacy and environmental responsibility in one meaningful active citizenship project, preparing schools for statutory Citizenship from September 2028.

Complete Verity Citizenship schemes are available for both KS2 and KS3.
