KS2 Inference comprehension pack with ANSWERS

This pack includes 6 inference/comprehension activities with answers that would be great to use as a whole class inference session once per week or an extension for guided reading activities.

Aimed at lower key stage 2 classes to boost inference skills.

Each activity has 5/6 questions based on a short text.

How I use the resource:

1. Allow children to read text independently and identify words they are unsure of.
2. Discuss new vocabulary and allow children to use dictionary if needed.
3. Children can begin answering questions - encourage them to underline or highlight parts of the text which give them clues to the answer.
4. Go through questions together as a class or with a partner and compare answers.
