KS2 Planet Omar Guided Reading Sequence - Fiction (8 Lessons)

This download includes all slides and resources for a 8 lesson whole-class guided reading sequence, exploring the text ‘Planet Omar - Accidental Trouble Magnet’ by Zanib Mian. It was used with a year 3 cohort but could definitely be used towards the end of Year 2 or adapted for years beyond.

This is the first of the ‘Planet Omar’ collection starring a Muslim boy with a huge imagination. In this story, Omar and his family have just moved, and he is NOT excited about starting at a new school.

The download includes:
