KS3 4 part Lesson: Using a rhyme scheme in our own work. Nonsense Poetry and Rhyming Couplets.

This is a 4 part lesson on rhyme schemes from a topic about nonsense poetry. It uses rhyming couplets to help students understand a regular rhyme scheme.

The lesson includes images, videos, questions and tasks in order to help students understand the lesson. This lesson has been prepared with a mixed ability year 7 class in mind, so it has stretch and challenge tasks as well as support for those who might find this more difficult. It would also be appropriate to use this lesson for a year 6 or 8 class.
