A short SoW to develop basic audio sequencing skills around the topic of Electronic Dance Music, using a DAW software.
Worksheets feature walk-throughs of several key sequencing and editing features (with screenshots) to the dance music style.
Although only in 3 main parts, there should be time given in between for learners to create and develop their pieces (suggested in pairs). This could be supplemented with recording additional vocals or other tracks if resources and time allow.
Included also are some starter activities and an assessment rubric for both learners and assessors to evaluate finished pieces.
Note: The worksheets are based around using Macs with Logic Pro or GarageBand, however the tasks are transferable to other DAW platforms.
