3 minute video explaining how the fuel systems of Bloodhound SSC are regulated to control the rate of combustion, considering the ‘sloshing’ of the fuel in the tank as it accelerates up to 1000mph and back…

The BLOODHOUND Team are at Newquay Airport to test the Fuel Systems for the EJ200 Jet Engine - they need to simulate the G forces the jet fuel will face at 1000mph by tilting the lower chassis to an angle of 60 degrees. Find out how they got on in this episode of Cisco BLOODHOUND TV.

The BLOODHOUND Project is not only about building a car to go 1,000mph, but it is also a perfect vehicle for education of STEM subjects. Over the life of this project we’ve been able to inspire over 2 million young people!
